As we accelerate the development of our breakthrough program for treatment-resistant depression, we are proud to welcome three experienced leaders into their new roles:

Anna Quattropani, Chief Discovery Officer (CDO)
With over 25 years of experience in drug discovery and non-clinical development, Anna brings world-class scientific leadership to our research efforts.

Mélanie Rouillier, Chief Operating Officer (COO)
A co-founder and cornerstone of Elkedonia, Mélanie embraces this role with the vision and drive that have shaped our company from the very beginning.

Sarah Delbaere, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Sarah supports biotech companies from start-up to growth, combining strategic vision with execution excellence, making her a key asset in dynamic, innovation-driven environments.

Elkedonia’s program targets ELK1, a transcription factor that plays a pivotal role in regulating reward brain circuits and neuroplasticity. Long thought undruggable, ELK1 can now be inhibited with Elkedonia’s novel chemistry, to restore neuroplasticity, without the hallucinogenic or dissociative side effects of psychedelics or ketamine derivatives.

Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is at the center of a fast-growing and devastating health crisis. It affects around 332 million people worldwide and is strongly linked to suicide, the third-leading cause of death among 15-29 year-old.
